The beauty of this dish is that you can use any shellfish you want. Corn, potatoes, and anduille sausage add another layer of flavor which pairs well with your watery fare. Get your family and friends together for a seafood boil right in the back yard!

For the Cajun Butter Sauce:

Steps for the Boil:

  1. Fill a large stockpot with water and bring to a boil. Now stir in the salt, pepper, cayenne, bay leaves, old bay and cajun seasonings. Let the seasonings boil for about 5 mins to mix the flavors together.
  2. Add the pieces of corn and and let them boil for 5 minutes. Then add the potatoes and let both boil together for about 10 minutes. Now add the anduille sausage and let them cook for another 5 minutes.
  3. Add your crab legs, clams, shrimp and any other shellfish you desire. Cover the pot with a lid and allow everything to boil for another 10-15 minutes. The clams will open once they're done. Save a quarter cup of the broth.
  4. Either put newspaper or butcher's paper over a table and place all the contents of the boil on the table or serve them in plates.

Steps for the Cajun Butter Sauce:

  1. Add the garlic and butter to a sauce pan and melt the butter on low heat.
  2. Once the butter is melted, turn the heat to medium and add all the other ingrediants including the broth you saved. Whisk frequently and get all ingrediants incorporated.
  3. When the mixture starts to bubble, remove from heat and you're ready to pour it on your food or use it as a dip!
